My Grandpa, One of My Biggest Heroes

Growing up, I'd hear stories of my grandfather who flew bombers in the Pacific theater as a captain in the Army Air Corps. Those stories left such an impression that I wrote about him in elementary school. He is one of my heroes, and he remains in my heart as one of the noblest people I've known. On this Veteran's Day, thank you, Grandpa, for your service and contributions to our great nation. I am grateful.
